Covered Bridges

My Sweet Man and I (and our girls) just love covered bridges! There is something nostalgic about them. Maybe it is all the memories they hold, maybe even the longing to be in the country or the way things use to be, but we just adore them!

30 years ❤️

30 years ago these 2 young people crossed paths. That meeting turned into a lifetime of love. That love has seen trials, deaths, heartache, growth spiritually and emotionally, 2 beautiful baby girls who have turned into beautiful women, a terrific SIL and now a precious grand baby. They have went from thinking they were in love to falling in love more and more as each day passes. Time together seems to slip by so very fast like the swift current of a river but isn't that the way with a love of a lifetime? Sweet Man, I pray I give you a reason to fall in love with me more each day and I thank God each morning I wake with you 💞 here's to many more wakes, many more moments and much more love!

Southern Girl by Birth and Choice

I was born in Elizabethton, TN. I lived there until I was 8. We moved to Orlando, Florida shortly after my aunt and uncle moved here. My parents, 2 siblings and I lived in a small high low camper for almost a year while my parents saved and found a place to live. At least that was what I was told. I was a cute little girl. One who had already been through more than any 8 year old should have to go through.

I had not really thought about blogging until a few of my friends encouraged me to try it. I have always been creative and seem to have a touch no matter what I try my hands at. So it did seem natural to try my hands at it.
