Christmas Time is Coming

Everything around me seems to be pointing to Christmas, we haven’t even celebrated Thanksgiving yet! I think I am starting to cave. The main reason is it takes about 5 days to get fully decorated for Christmas at our Cabin. Being the 28th,Thanksgiving runs late in the month this year, if I wait until after Thanksgiving, I will be running too far into December. So the decorating will begin this weekend.

Gradually over the years our Christmas decorating has infiltrated every room in and out of the house. I do it just as much for me as I do for everyone who stops by during the holidays. I know not everyone has the time or resources to go all out for Christmas. I am a blessed small business owner, So I can decorate around the business. I get so much pleasure out of decorating for any holiday, especially Christmas. Christmas seems to make even the scroogiest of people soften a bit. We all open our hearts, our lives and our wallets just a little more. If we could only carry all of the joys of Christmas into our lives for the rest of the year, the world would be a better place.
Please take a moment to enjoy pictures from last year at our home. Maybe it will get you in the mood to put out your decorations. Afterall, is not a few hours of your time worth the warmth it will bring you for a few weeks?
If you haven't already, please take just a second and "like" my page on the right on facebook.
Peace, Love and EnJoy

    1. Yes Thanksgiving is actually the 4TH Thursday of the month of November, but the date itself (28th) is later than the last few years. In 2009 it was on the 26th, 2010 it was on the 25th, in 2011 it was on the 24th and 2012 it was on the 22nd. Which each gave room to a few more days before the end of November for decorating. I am glad you enjoyed a laugh :/ and my pictures.
