Paper Flower Tutorial

I am making these beautiful flowers for my daughter's upcoming baby shower. I thought I would share the process with you. I hope you enjoy and make lots of flowers for Spring Time.

Paper Flowers
Cut 3 layers of tissue paper into strips of your choice in size and color. These are 3 layers of tissue paper laid longways and folded in half and half again, cutting into fourths, The strips will then be about 6 1/2" wide and 20" long. The final flower is 5 1/2" wide. Put the center color on top and fold accordion style with top color on both ends . Cut ends in a semi circle. Fold in half and place wire in middle (I used twine covered floral wire). Start carefully pulling center layer away from other 2 layers and fluff up. Then separate the other 2 layers. Fluff to give it a full look.
You can make lots of these for pennies! Feel free to pin the picture to save to your pinterest or to like LHM to the right to see more....
