Unstoppable

The bible tells us that it is only by grace that we are saved, there is nothing we can do to earn the grace. It just is, like God. There is no need to explain, there could be no explanation as to why we as sinners should be given eternal life in the glory of our Savior. I cannot think of one thing I have done that could possibly earn me the grace that my Father has shown me.

Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

I think that one of the many “lies” that Satan whispers unbelievers as well as believers rely on is “I will never be good enough” . No you won’t be good enough, ever . That is exactly why God had to send His only Son to die for you. There is no need to clean up your life on your own, open you arms and run to Him. He alone will clean you up. It may not be immediately. It may not be in a week, month or year. God's cleanup process has no time limits. However, if you are truly giving your life to Him, you will notice (and especially people around you will notice) the difference. You will be Christ’s testimony to those around you.

Acts 26:16 ESV

But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you

So don’t let your own (or others) excuses stop you. Kierra didn’t and we are so proud of her. She is my daughter’s best friend. She, along with Abi, will be attending her first mission trip to Africa in June. She has felt for some time God laying it on her heart to give it all to him. Yesterday, she did. Abi had the privilege of being part of the beginning of her journey with Christ.

Matthew 28:19 ESV

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
